Pudge for the Pitiful

Hi Strangers!
Did ya recognize me? Ha…kidding. I am feeling very very lame for my poor, pitiful blogging efforts. I deserve a fat F. It all started when my scheduled blog “face lift” didn’t go over so well during Break. I think I jinxed the time of transformation by hyping myself up about it. Upgrading my blog is still in the plans; it’s just a matter of when now…
This doesn’t excuse me from my lack of photography or tantalizing your taste buds by talking about all things food . Anyone know of a good place to find motivation? I’m looking for affordable, yet durable ; )
Anyway, if you keep up with every random thought that crosses my mind via Twitter, you know I returned safely to my second residence yesterday, welcomed by more Spring sunshine. Today was a typical Monday. It was as though I never had a break. Academia is in full swing again – oh joy!
I hit up the gym for a quickie tonight. I would have loved to have stayed longer [I missed the eye candy], but I have enormous amounts of studying to do.
- indoor track warm-up run [1 mi. @ 9:10]
- 30-minute treadmill run [3.4 mi.]
- 4 min. @ 6.2mph
- 6 min. @ 6.8mph
- 8 min.@ 7.2mph [8:19 pace]
- 2 min. @ 8.2mph [7:19 pace]
- 6 min. @ 6.8mph
- 4 min. @ 6.2mph
Although I fit in many great runs this past week, I fit in many more fabulous eats…resulting in in a 2+ pound weight gain – eek. With bikini season right around the corner, there is no vacancy in this tummy for Mr. & Mrs. Calorie. My mom tried to get me back on track by sending me home with No Pudge Fudge Brownie Mix – cappuccino flavor!
It was sooo easy to make…as is every boxed mix.
4 T mix + 2 T Greek Yogurt + 1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract = Coffee Fudge [No Pudge] Brownie in 1 minute!
I was pleasantly surprised to see the short ingredient list – yay!
That’s all I have time for tonight. The clock’s a ticking…
Night,
Hillary

2lb weight gain? that’s it? maybe you are just retaining water or something and it will be gone shortly.

2 pounds…that’s nothing, not even noticable!!! As the commenter above said you probably are retaining water, don’t panic about it.

Ohmigosh – I have NEVER seen that flavor of No Pudge! We love the original and I love the mint (hubby doesn’t), but I think I would adore the cappuccino! I love adding some cool whip to them and mashing it up. I’m going in search for that today!
