Slow As Molasses

Something’s funky with WordPress and it’s driving me nuts! It’s taken up half of my morning just trying to write a simple post. Gah.

Anyway, DanceFit was not slow this morning by any means. We were rockin’! That class never fails to make my muscles feel the burn. After 45 minutes of intense cardio, we ended with 15 minutes of yoga. It was an itty bitty start to Goal #5: “Practice yoga”.

Last of the 0% Oikos (eaten straight from the container), some homemade Humboldt Honey Granola, and half of a banana would equal breakfast.

Today is gray and rainy. Yet another day for baking I propose. My grandparents are arriving late this afternoon and we are meeting them at one of the nicer restaurants (Folie Douce) in town for dinner. Excited for some gourmet eats…

Happy Friday,

~ Hillary

I love yoga. I’m glad it is one of your goals to practice more! That breakfast sounds heavenly. I, too, eat the end oikos out of the big container – I never waste a drop!

I love that your cardio class ended with yoga. I’m working on fitting more yoga into my week too. Have a great dinner!

I am not surprised you haven’t heard of DanceFit because it’s something my (ex) dance teacher invented at her dance studio. I have never heard of anything else exactly like it. It’s 45 minutes of pretty advanced cardio dance routines + 15 minutes of weights or yoga. I have no problem waking up in the morning for this workout – it’s a blast!

I’m not a huge fan of grey and rainy days:/ But baking is always a lot of fun, so I’m sure it makes up for it!

And I love Oikos straight out of the container – it makes it taste a lot better:)
